In my overall career I’ve never had to let go of so many people in my organization over the past 3 years as I have with Dell. Yet, they keep the SVP’s and VP’s in place. You’ve got SVP’s report to SVP’s! You’ve got VP’s with 2 reports! But you’re going to get rid of your good workers now.
You know why you can’t get better? Because you’re too fat at the top! Are you dense Jeff and Mike?!
It shows that you really don’t know who to run a business. You are good at playing financial and putting on strategic cons but actually having to lead and manage? No. You listen to 3rd party consulting companies to do that who have zero skin in the game.
Shareholders - this is who is leading the company. 5 years Dell will be gone. Split apart and sold off.
