@OP
Unreliable => TVM. Squeezing the suppliers. No Quality Control.

Defect ladden => Last minute changes. We don't follow the design process. Managers overrule the engineers.

overpriced => Greed. A way for managers to compensate for their failures (sell less, but more expensive, so the books don't look so awful).

In a nutshell, we make design mistakes (more than we should), we buy cheap parts, and compound it by overpricing our products, because BF/JF have no clue how to run a company.

Ford if very inefficient. Hired too many useless salary and hourly. Too many people waiting to retire and they do nothing at work but waiting for a paycheck. Too many salary employees spending time at home and not contributing anything to the company. No one cares about their job. No accountability. People get raises or promotion base on skin color and s-x status. Sorry, but it's a sad company to work for.

@ah+1jhfx5h7x: I thought Ford had more engineers than it needed.

OPs question is valid. Now, who has the stones to ask it, in person, at the next BF/JF town hall?

Keyboard commandos are worthless.

you would think by now that Ford would be the industry experts at recalls

November 14, 2024, NHTSA fines Ford $165M for failure to meet federal recall requirements. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) found that Ford delayed recalling vehicles with faulty rearview cameras and failed to provide accurate, complete recall information.

Why does the sun rise in the east and set in the west? Why do leaves fall from the trees? Why do women say that they’re “fine” when clearly they are not?
