With this latest earning report, I would think there will be more people leaving.
What makes people stay at Intel? Why would any smart person stick around this jo--t? I don't get it.

Where would you go if you left? GF who are floundering. Intel is a fantastic company that pays well, has excellent benefits and employees who work hard are rewarded. I worked for 4 Semi companies....Intel is heads and tails the cream of the crop.
You’re like GM in the 70s that ignored the Japanese auto industry, and kept building inferior cars: gas guzzlers and poor quality. While the Japanese were building reliable and efficient cars.
Sure Intel and still making billions but they aren’t going to recapture the lost market shares. Intel lost the fab race, and the graphics hw and driver stink, no way to catch up to NV or AMD. They’ll continue to shrink in terms of market share. Really sad to see Intel goes from the Indispensable tech company to the Irreverent tech company.

Billions in revenue, BILLIONS. Move on people. Stock price obviously doesn't show profit. If you had a business and it makes BILLIONS in profits obviously you have a good customer base. Intel isn't going anywhere.

Pat will institute his version of SET and ACT soon: PAT (Pat's Accelerated Transition). Kinda sounds like him going Kaitlyn Jenner. On the bright side, being named Pat doesn't require a name change.
The only people who stay at Intel are the politicians and quacks who know they are not hirable anywhere else.
Pat will discuss accelerated Intel strategy on Monday :) Perfect timing after stock takes a 6.5% drop hit. Time to clean house.
Don't know whether people will leave in droves to greener pastures, but the quarterly report wasn't well received by investors. It's about 12 noon EDT and the stock is down over 4%.
Just a matter of time for investors to demand real change and/or layoffs.
