Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

GRWM

To search for jobs on workday after I had to filter out 90% of the professional white collar jobs that I used to be able to choose from and work towards because this company only hires Indians now.

You are a clown. People like you are the problem with the country. You have some goofball 1950s WWII movie script mixed with failed, flawed and skewed 10th grade history class version of the settlement, Colonial and Revolutionary War periods of the country.

Not from India
And one of the 'displaced'

@ak+1jr0m9h2v unfortunately this is not a WF issue (WF is actually late to the offshore party) This has been happening for over 20+ years in the banking/corporate world. JPM, GS, Morgan Stanley,BNYM and Nuveen they all been doing it and they have the blessing of the administration because those campaign checks have cleared LOL. The only thing that would stop it would be a scandal and the clients make a run on the banks, that might cause them to reverse sail

At least wells fargo will have lend money out to indians and keep their savings to stay in business. No one in USA will be able to bank at wells without having money.

Tell Trump to scrutinize Wells Fargo shipping jobs to India , and abusing H1B visa by bringing Indians to replace American engineers in the US. Just go to Concord,Ca campus, all Indians, all speak Hindu in the cafeteria! What happened to American first?

Am I the only one who's noticed the qualifications for roles are more lax for jobs outside the states? I've seen req after req that shows if you live in the states you need +2 years or +4 years experience and for other countries years of experience aren't required, it just says "you need experience".

They're just throwing it in your face that they want someone overseas because its cheaper.

Just ask one of the Indians to steal or create a new identity for you, apply to the role, talk to the AI Indian recruiter then start in India. You will pay less taxes in rupees and be farther ahead than your peers for speaking fluent English. You just need to identify as a desi.

What they are doing is literally TREASON.

This is illegal, and Americans should all be insisting that the people responsible for this be held accountable for this illegal activity!

"treason /trē′zən/
noun

The betrayal of allegiance toward one's own country, especially by committing hostile acts against it or aiding its enemies in committing such acts.

The betrayal of someone's trust or confidence.

The offense of attempting to overthrow the government of the state to which the offender owes allegiance, or of betraying the state into the hands of a foreign power; disloyalty; treachery.
