Seriously, the company can’t do the right thing for us on Thanksgiving? Not saying close all day, but there is no reason most stores can’t close early. 4pm would be reasonable.

If we're going to be open at least give us the demand hours to support the increased flow of customers since all our competition is closed! I have 20 hours for 8am to 9:30pm. Another holiday where I have to put "out of order" signs on the photo kiosks and Moneygram to make it through the day.
I have worked for CVS since 1992. They were NEVER closed on thanksgiving.
Back then they closed on Christmas day and that was it. You want to blame someone blame Walmart. They started this c-ap that all retailers must follow. Now they want to look like the good guy “stepping up to the plate” and closing on thanksgiving. This decision of course is for their colleagues while they constantly cut their store payroll in favor of self checkouts. Better yet blame capitalism Wall Street and corporate America.
No hurt feelings here cause I have none for you. You’re just a “wannabe” important to CVS. Who doesn’t matter one ounce to the company just like the rest of us.
I'm sorry you got your feelings hurt.
@akfp+17rxV7kL You’re a real d–k. No one cares that you’re a brown nosing CVS wannabe important kind of person.
It is a business. A sh–ty one that plays favorites and closes pharmacies but keep the front store open. And they s— for it! Just like you s—!
Just celebrate Thanksgiving on a different day. Grow up. It's a business, not a charity.
You guys all make perfect sense !! You’re all right !! You’re all normal !
But unfortunately you are working for a company that could care less about people.
It’s all about driving numbers, $$$ and shareholders !
It is what it is friends :)
The OP is right! CVS should close on Thanksgiving! Many stores and businesses are closed for thanksgiving, why not cvs? Would it really k–l this company to throw front store employees a bone once in a while?
As long as the company may make a buck and the shareholders are happy, we will stay open. That means, if your store is open thanksgiving and Christmas, so be it. They don't care about anything or anyone other than the dollar. THIS IS CVS!
21 years. This year with Covid, they could have taken care of the employees.
Ahh. You must be new here.
Just celebrated 8 years from NCO yesterday, and in that time the only day FS hours have changed for a holiday has been Christmas Day. That's all we've ever gotten and its all we're ever going to get. Want to go home early on a Holiday? Get your tech license and go count some pills. It ain't happening in the FS until customers decide with thier wallets it's not worth it for us to be there.
