Following the standard playbook, it will continue into November.
A ton of Honeywell RIFs this month, including me. So unexpected and with no input from supervisors just the top machine decides who without regard for seniority, performance, merit
After 4 years almost to the date I was given 8 days notice that my job was being RIF'd, Reduction in Force. My position was eliminated the same week we completed phase 1 of a migration project, that started with only me, and grew into a team, on application, BeyondTrust, that I solelt supported nearly all 4 years of my employment. It's impossible NOT to feel some type of way about this.
Anyhow, when one door closes, another opens. I'm currently job hunting almost two months now. Another AA was RIF'd after completing a major project. I'm AA, 63 years of age, and both of these stats work against me as a demographic!
I give IA a short shelf life, all the businesses are failing. Dump it all and focus on the stronger parts of the business.
No surprise, I believe PSS could be next.
Mass layoffs at Intelligrated today. 100's of people.
Layoff coming? Such a b. Rumor
And… here we go. The quarterly sacrifice to the executive bonus Gods is about to commence. Get ready folks. Q1 cuts incoming.
The offshore shytestain is the apple of the corporate eye; those who speak the truth or cost too much are blackballed and will be removed in due course.
@ambc
I have thrown my heart and soul into this company and the only thing that I have to show for it, is a desire to leave. There is no possibility of promotion nor increase of my pay. I've been sacrificing for years and I get nothing except a positive comment from my boss. He has no power to correct things. I'm just waiting for them to send me away. Please, send me away!
Please let it be me… please let it be me…
How sad is that? I’m a workhorse too, when treated well.
Would anyone know if the manufacturing side in Torrance California is going to be hit ?
@8mrc+1qkb1IoY There is a high possibility at least two of those categories will not be here next year, who knows maybe all three. SPS, now called IA is the absolute worst it has ever been.
When SPS started losing the plot a few years back I moved on, so what is the crack there nowadays? Everyone I know was ejected or ran away.
Is it still a complete disaster in PSS, HGAS and PPE?
@ekl+1qkb1IoY Is your site in SPS?
Ours is, but it's leased, and they have the landlord & their team doing the same things. A spur of recent activity... Odd. Never like this in the last 5 years. 6-year lease.
I think NJ64 will not renew its lease in May 2024. We must be doomed.
Sayonara.
I thought all parties walked away from Intelligrated because of the ridiculous valuation.
Rumors of Intelligrated and Fortna/TH Lee have slowed down. Anyone know anything? I suspect IGS will layoff more to make that deal work if it is true.
What do we expect will happen in Morristown ?
They are regarded as an employer of last resort in Canada.
Get the resumes out early. Bleak times ahead as the Well dries up.
First bo-b drops either end of Jan or start of Feb. It will be the first business to go.
I don't know about layoffs. I'm pretty sure there's going to be some plant closures.
My division is located in a really run down facility.
Now they're putting my building into code. They told us it just looks this way. They're investing in us so we have better working conditions. They also told us that we're growing.
It gets better. After all the years of not listening to our employee surveys, and business as usual. Now they're making a bold statement. They actually pay attention to these employees surveys.
The people with 30 or more years of service. Don't believe this and I don't either. All suddenly you make a profile alignment announcement. They start spending money on getting the building into code.
They upgrading old rundown restrooms, fixing the roof, repairing steps which are dangerous, repairing parking lot, upgrading boilers, replacing signs, replacing outside doors, fixing the cafeteria up that they don't even use, putting new furniture in, new carpet, fixing the entryway that's been leaking for 11 years, and a list continues.
Well, I would give you the name of my division. Yet! The marketers of Honeywell complained. They remove my last post.
The last time they did this. The eliminated two divisions in my state.
They're also cleaning up our break rooms. We're no longer allowed to have clutter. The last 11 years they didn't care.
There's a lot of equipment that's not working at my place. Well they hired a bunching engineers and technicians. They told them to get them running, they're also focusing on getting the automation equipment going, and anything doesn't work they're supposed to get rid of.
Maybe, I'll get a severance package.
