@bs I sure hope so. Let’s see if Wireless can stand on its own. Oh, by the way, you do realize that only the “last mile” is wireless right? Guess what connects all of those cell towers to the network? I’ll give you a hint, it’s not wireless.

Is domestic wireline the next to be spun off?

@aq a lot of customers will have services internationally that are on U S contracts but provided by Verizon’s international companies..so the question is what will happen in this scenario , and probably vice versa too

Maybe someone should review the Tymshare/Tymnet/BT/MCI/VZ past history.

A lot of the International revenue is accounted back into the Domestic arena (A end). How will that work if International is split away ?

Its that BT international merger. Management said the contributed assets are being reclassified as held for sale and flagged a 800 million loss, plus additional severance and asset-rationalization charges

Inquiring minds want to know....How many Volunteer Hours is BT bringing to this Partnershii?

The sad reality is Verizon does not have the Executive skill set to succeed at Mergers/Partnerships.. especially in Enterprise space.

The only Merger that succeed was Bell Atlantic/NYNEX under Ivan.

MCI take over of Enterprise space was a moderate failure. Failed on MCI corrupt culture integration but was cheap.

GTE was Hillbilly Executives but Wireless assets but a massive overpayment of Genuity backbone.

Vodaphone was massive overpayment and the beginning of failed execution by appointed Execs.

AOL/BlueJeans equivalent of funding zero return on investment but major payoffs to Tim Armstrong and AOL Execs.

Currently, fired/off payroll CEO in 24 hours making hostage exit video in a conference room.

Nothing points to success on this partnership.. just look at Vz Board members or Vz C Level Execs a d Director level DEI to execute.

$43 is going to be the high for Vz stock.

Reality is this is step 1 and step 2 is diversiting international segment.
