The System Council T6 passed a proposal yesterday to Verizon for a permanent Work-at-Home agreement. The existing temporary agreement runs through the end of June. This new proposal offers comprehensive language that would address the needs of a long-term agreement. The IBEW in New England is committed to trying to reach an agreement to continue Work-at-Home, and awaits the company’s response to the proposal.

To all my little Buebalahs... please pay no attention to these outbursts... I assure you, we are only concerned with your happiness and well-being. We want you safe and cocooned at home. We know it's so much nicer there... No disgusting call center restrooms. No frantic fast food runs to escape the cafeteria food. You can be more isolated from the gossip and politics... Fewer interruptions from coaches, coworkers, and union stewards.
Trust me, we want what's best for you.
Call the union... let them know what's best for you.
Go back to the office u miserable cowards...stop!
Close case
I hope you guys had a relaxing weekend! It's the start of a brand new week, and time to renew your efforts to let the union know your wishes. Everyone needs to make sure they contact the union in at least one way to let them know the advantages of working from home. Let them know that it benefits Verizon and you. Despite what they will tell you, it benefits the union as YOU ARE the union. The union exists by you and for you. What is good for you is good for the union. So, call, e-mail, snail mail... Any way is perfect. Whatever keeps you at home.

WFH only if you do pulse surveys, back to office boycott pulse survey and tell union they have no right to demand we take survey for company.
oh my god, another whiner tread about working from home. the pandemic is over get back in the office or quit. waaa waaa waaa.
Yes. It is called he WD clause. Or whine and go on disability. It has been around for quite some time.
I'm not sure what became of it, but there was an effort to show the union how much support there is for work from home. It seems like some of the same themes are being repeated (or are likely to be repeated) here. You're answers might already have been addressed here...
The union isn't what it use to be and they know what little "security" they think they have goes away once you are home.
@anr+1bchxpTv - the real question is why would you want to work from home? Even less job security than when you are at a center.
Back to the office, Bi----s.
Shouldn't you be asking... Why is the union trying to force us back into the office?
