Your manager is suddenly micro managing, docking bonuses, botching performance reviews? You’re not the only one. Take a look on other websites like Reddit, you’ll see a lot of the same thing happen all across America. This is manufactured by design. Companies, especially Fidelity laying off a bunch of employees would not look good for the broader markets. So what a better option? Turn up the heat so people will eventually quit. That way they’re not paying severances, no unemployment benefits, job data isn’t showing what’s really happening etc. So what’s the solution to this? Adapt. This game is rigged and with that being said that means it’s probably poorly run. Get what you need from these companies then leave. Use them the way they use you because their isn’t any loyalty left in this game. Wages are stagnant here, there’s no long term loyalty anymore, theres no trust anymore.

The “if you’re not good at anything, be a manager” mindset is actually a thing. My current manager was by her own words, hired for diversity and she was saved from being laid off, because of that.
Managers are inherently d-mb. Kinda like they say "if you can't do real work, then try to b.s. your way into management". It totally works for some people as you can see.
this is solid input, fight fire with fire, lie to fidelity, gaslight fidelity, they have earned complete and total disregard; the outcomes for fidelity’s customers do not matter, fidelity does not matter
@as My manager was doing the same thing.
My manager seems to be trying to actively fire everyone on the team. Around half the team are on corrective action but they still won’t do anything about them being the problem.
