If you think you will lose your job, get your resume ready now. Always have it updated with current information. Look at your past job titles, job skills, dates, etc. Request past reviews from HR if not available online, as it will help with building your resume, if you don’t have one that is updated. Have a list of contacts for reference checks (ask the contacts if you can use them for reference checks). Network like crazy, as this can lead to finding new job opportunities. Learn new skills, obtain certifications, use tuition reimbursement while you are still employed. Control what you can control. Be proactive to help with the constant stress. Take care of yourself.
@aw, you do realize that in today's digital world ads are personalized - based on your own internet behavior and preferences, right?!
Probably the same person who said they were going to lower the displacement package for 2025. Get a life you POS, we're under enough stress.
I like all the girly ads on this site
TROLL
Give yourself a few more upvotes there, OP. That seems to bring you as much pleasure as making people live in fear.
Yeah this is just the troll weirdly invested in stoking the most fear
"The displacement committee"??? Hahahaha. It would make it more believable (but not much) if you had the actual name of the HR team.
OH MY GOD.
WHY? WHY? WHY?
Can you tell this just severely raised my stress level by a hundred million billion percent?
Not soon enough for me.
Layoffs have been happening at any time. There are multiple efforts going on.
Reorg layoffs have been happening on days other than every Tuesday after payday.
With so many definitely legitimate votes, this must be true lol
