Has anyone received a 1:1 or any news in EU? Would be great if you could share the country as well.

If I worked in Germany, I’d get years of salary for redundancy. But it will take months to work through the works council.
I’m in Italy didn’t hear anything yet.
Managers have the names even if notification dates are in the future. It may not be the direct manager that has it yet, but Director and above knows. Lists are done and closed at this point regardless of country.
Does anyone know are the names out in the Lists but since the dates are TBD, they will not be shared? Or they come in a different wave?
Germany can take months and months which is frustrating but they usually do have at least 6 months severance. No one is safe if you work for a corporation sadly.
Nothing yet in Spain. Though my manager is in Poland
France, Germany, Netherlands and Belgium can take several months due to Works Councils. UK takes a few weeks typically, Ireland is normally right after US. Spain is usually early too.
Do managers given the names or names for EU countries will be declared at a later date?
@axi+1uxdM3RB and other countries like Switzerland with poor labour law have being notified already now.
European timings will vary country by country. Germany, France and Belgium are usually not for a good couple of months later. Others like UK only a few weeks later than US.
Anyone knows how it works in Germany? Considering the local work counsel law, anyone will be notified now if he/she is impacted? Or have to wait for other few months to be notified and or to know at all??
I believe the EU will manage layoffs later due to more strict laws. If you are on the global team, then you can be impacted this week.
Good luck..
Me in APAC got served
