Thread regarding Ford layoffs

Heard about a Performance Improvement Plan notice handed out today.

It went to someone in our group. The person was told what they were being paid to actually do at Ford did not include being a Social Media Influencer all day long while on the clock while working from home the past two years.

Surprising the person got off with a Performance Improvement Plan handed to them and not fired and walked out the building for everyone to see. Like a Perp walk.

@a8 AI he-l, just need a keylogger and to check the logs on where you're going. Don't need AI for that and works much, much better.

Well, management thought it was cute and encouraged it for years as long as they mentioned Ford. So that horse is out of the barn. For years, especially around summer internship time you have these id--t girls taking photos of themselves in the bathroom to post boss girl photos. 🤮

Bet there’s going to be a lot more of these cases. See young Ford employees, probably still under their initial probation period who are not working because they are posting on their personal social media accounts using their cellphones all day long while at work. Ford management has noticed too, then informs HR about the problem employee.
