It’s happening in July. More layoffs, and direct doors into retailers. Prepare yourself, update your resume, and take care of yourself. They don’t care about you, and they are showing it once again.

@1dr only Band 4 and up know. I hear that GN&T will be hit hard as will other teams that skipped the RIF last month. Additionally there will be the long overdue reorg in GTS which will finally be sacrificed to the God of V who will be the sole, unchallenged, unchecked, unhinged ruler of IT as he has been convinced for a decade he was meant to be. Which means those of the right race, caste, home town and believes will get promoted and rewarded, and those of the wrong race or background will find themselves suddenly reporting to people from southern India...
Is the July RIF company wide? Or is it targeting specific departments? My department was heavily impacted in November, but we somehow didn’t lose anyone in May, when a lot of other departments around us did. So I’m thinking we are due…
@bj that is great summary of a smart move. Let’s sell more of where we have 5% margin instead of selling where we have 50% margins.

I heard from a SR Director. Vague posting is a funny term. I wouldn’t come on here and out my name - that’s the point of keeping it ANON. So yes, I’ll leave it vague, but my source is good as gold. We can revisit in July.

I also heard from a source working for indirect, my store location (Mountain/North Great Plains) may be going indirect soon.
GN&T and field appear to be the two preparing layoffs. I don't think anyone else is.
