All days of this week have been rumored. Nobody is really certain as to which wave it is now. I, for one, have no clue what is going on or which wave or phase are we in. I have just been keenly aware, and managed to accept that as a fact, that I can be laid off any hour of any day. I just wonder about larger batches or rounds, because even if I survive there still will be he-l to pay.

@bkr+1uH0h1GJ: "one glaring category?" which category?
Ts plan of confusion has worked on some. They don’t want you to know which wave or extended or split wave is in motion. That would tip their hand as to what is going on.
They were clear and upfront when defining a group of people equally represented, and targeted in waves. This checks the boxes for legal. But the back end of the wave execution is anything but equal. T mistakenly believes that those actually being let go and those initially equally targeted will be difficult to compare and reconcile. It’s not. Too many were granted exceptions, extensions, deferrals, to the exclusion of one glaring category.
It does not matter what it is called by the aholes that be, it is an unnecessary disruption for the ones doing the work. The same result could have been achieved by spending much less money and hurting so many people.
