Thread regarding Chevron Corp. layoffs

Richmond Voyager Attempt to Seize by Iran

We forget sometimes that our personnel risk life and limb to provide us the oil & gas products on which we rely. Thank you, Chevron Shipping and related support groups for all you do. Wish you a safe journey home.

Op, you need to remember all the provocation started with US sanctioning and seizing Iranian oil tankers in the first place and this is just a consequence of that policy. The additional risk is created by uncle Sam to fool folks like you of how thankful you should be to him!

Do you think this will cause layoffs?

@bof has magical thinking that energy use is only supply and somehow demand/consumption isn’t part of the equation. The reality is @bof’s standard of living is wholly and entirely dependent on energy from direct use to cook, drive, fly and every single item used or consumed- food, drink, clothing, housing, etc uses oil in in its manufacture and supply chain. @bof is deluded in thinking all that happens by magic.

@bof+1ntajohp: Great! Now start walking to show us just how committed you are to your cause. Don’t think it’ll be a big deal since you’re stuck in mom’s basement, and she can drive you to your next protest.

I love it when my tax dollars and budget deficit provide protection for private for-profit companies that pollute our planet.
