Thread regarding JPMorgan Chase & Co. layoffs

How many hours in is considered a day in office?

for example, at wells fargo, as long as you swipe your badge, you have completed a day in office.

I have heard 4 hours and 6 hours floated around but there should be a hard number set by management. what is it?

You only need to sign into the computer in the office to make it count as 1 office day.
I come in for 5 mins, clock in and then leave. My % is 78%.
This only works if your boss doesn't care.

Chase was always big amount monitoring time in the office. They look at reports from swiping in and out. I was questioned about 8 years ago about my total weekly time in the office because I was leaving a bit early to get the little one off the bus.

@fk+1jmqapgc7, I appreciate the feedback. So, if I understand you correctly, your attorney advised you to make the argument that "ordinary home-to-work travel" is considered ”worktime”?

”An employee who travels from home before his regular workday and returns to his home at the end of the workday is engaged in ordinary home to work travel which is a normal incident of employment. This is true whether he works at a fixed location or at different job sites. Normal travel from home to work is not worktime.”[2]

If you don't already know the answer to that basic question and need to ask. You should be fired on the spot on March 3rd.

@OP+1jmqapgc7, congrats to Wells Fargo for ”the recent termination of three regulatory punishments”. Only five more to go![1]🚨🚩🚓👮🔎

”NEW YORK, Feb 11 (Reuters) - A top Wells Fargo (WFC.N) executive said on Tuesday that the bank has five consent orders remaining to resolve issues related to its lending and sales practices, and he added the recent termination of three regulatory punishments shows that the bank has been making progress”.[1]
