Anyone got any reliable information whether this policy will get extended.
If so, will it get extended to only certain staff or everyone?

Anyone else remember Tobin at a town hall last year respond when asked whether RTO would be upped to 4 or 5 days respond with
“ there are no plans & we would consider it a failure by management if we did”
Yes, managers got 3 months notice, would imagine team members would get similar period.
Weren’t managers given 3 month notice on change in rto?
If the company is so focused on rto maybe they should be looking at all the home bases employees and start cutting there and that goes all the way to the top. My group was hybrid way before Covid working 2 days from home, why we are going backwards.
They’re going to announce it to everyone in feb, 4 days will start from the end of March. UK based.
@bw+1jjm0b0q1 I have been hybrid here since 2018. My entire working life has been hybrid.
I have direct info from Rob Vince- pleb 5 days in office, nobility - remote.
I dont get the big deal about back to the office. Our whole lives have been in an office. I dont care if you have to find and or pay for child care. We all had to when we had kids! Back to reality!

That’s like saying I don’t get why we’re driving automobiles now. We’ve ridden on a horse and buggy our whole lives. Why do we need to drive a car?
But that’s 42 for ya. No common sense. Just trying to agitate people that actually work at this dump

Folks,
All of you who are equipped to think know that this place is 100% sequacious. You’ve seen that there is no originality or new independent ideas here. Our ‘management in name only’ here simply plays follow the leader and does what it is told. Now look at Jamie Dimonsaur. 5 days a week for everyone. Think about it and now reflect on here. What the he-ll do you think is going to happen? This thread is in vain.
I’ve recently noticed on BNY recruiters LinkedIn postings they are stating the role will be expected to be in office “the majority of the week”. Before they would say this is a hybrid position. Even though 3 is a majority, I would assume the change in their wording indicates 4 days.
@af+1jjm0b0q1 Wtf are you talking about? Are you aware that even before Covid people had flexibility and lots of folks were hybrid? and contracts? don’t be a troll and do something useful
Before COVID, I'm certain pretty much all contracts were 5 days Mon - Fri in the office and the world was pretty content with that.
@a7+1jjm0b0q1 - what are you talking about? Job postings on eightfold just say “hybrid”, nothing about days in office.
The few job postings I've seen for NYC are published with a disclaimer that new employees are expected to be in office 4 days/week.
Where are you hearing of an extension?
Let's get back to work and just stop crying. I have never seen adults be such babies about work.
