Thread regarding Ford layoffs

Ford has become so toxic

Whenever there's some good work being done, there's always someone pining to take it over and crash and burn it into the ground. Whether it's Latitude, CE1, or some other internal a--hole.

@gg+1jtjhwwg3 I wish you safety with that. You now are dealing with a cabal of 5 people. They tank morale just like the previous four delinquents.

Fire HR. They are part of the rot. When did we last hear about an HR shakeup. They aren’t caring about the best interests of the company by tanking morale and doing the wrong thing. It does more bad than good. Who is running company, seriously embarrassing.

I deal with toxicity on a daily bases LL6, supervision and some GSR.

I've contacted HR on my situation on a cabal of 4 people.

Ford has developed a highly toxic environment, often resembling more of a social club than a professional engineering organization. This is evident when you look at the promotion of individuals in LL5 and LL6 positions, as well as the supervisors who are elevated to these roles. The focus seems to be more on social dynamics than on productivity, which ultimately undermines the effectiveness of the organization.

Ford has always been toxic right back to Henry himself. Read some books about the history of the company and you will see.
I started at Ford in 1990 and it was a horrible place to work right from the start. And yes, I left and yes, the grass was actually greener in other places.
Do yourself a favor and get as far away from Ford and SE Michigan as possible as soon as possible.

Confusing the macro with the micro is a bullsh-t take. But go ahead.

Been with Ford for over 25 years. It has always been this way because it is something promulgated and rewarded by HR and sr. leadership. The Ford + behaviors are BS, just look at how JF behaves and the ignorant puke that comes out of his mouth.

Good work? Tell that to all of the people that purchased Ford vehicles and have to put up with recalls and TSBs. No one has to "take it over and crash and burn it into the ground". You/Ford do a magnificent job without assistance.
