Is there any point going to office tomorrow or the entire week when they are going to layoff thousands of employees?
Motivation is down the drain..

1- I think you’re replying to the wrong post. What does growing a spine have to do with acting enthusiastic or not?
2- Verizon was a hellhole since I joined many, many years ago. I keep reading about some purported golden age of Verizon when everything was rainbows and unicorns. I seriously doubt that was ever the case but I’d be happy to be proven wrong. Show us the receipts!
@bt grow a spine. Attitudes like yours are part of the reason why Verizone became a toxic hellhole
@bw I’m sorry that you were laid off but this is bad advice. People need to be at the office on the same days as their boss and act extremely busy and enthusiastic but not so busy that they don’t have time to su-k up.
I don’t make the rules. Just sharing what I’ve learned.
Going into the office is bullsh-t. I never skipped a day going into the office and was still laid off. Makes zero difference if you are in office or not, no point going in. If you can do your job WFH, just do it.
@OP No matter your actual job function, virtue signaling is the most important part of working at Verizon. You need to make a show of how motivated and enthusiastic you are. Actual results are a distant second to the ostentatious display of enthusiasm.
@OP what a bunch of pampered whiners! If you have a job be grateful, do your duties and get paid. It's the same everywhere else
Yeah, go do your job.
I mean it is better to get a severance than kicked to the street.
Probably not, stay home and see if they even notice.
