No logging on at 7:30 because I will be getting myself ready for work and out the door.
Drop the kids at school, commute 60-75 minutes depending on traffic, get to my desk by 9:15, drop bag & boot up laptop.
Walk to COVID testing site, pick up test, return to desk, log test ID, take test, walk back to testing site and drop off test.
It's now 10:30. Spend 30 minutes mindlessly "collaborating" with coworkers about weather, politics, sports before considering where to pick up lunch before a round of afternoon calls conducted (I kid you not) via Zoom because our team is geographically dispersed.
Calls end, giving me a solid hour to work (unless another coworkers is bored and wants to collaborate - see above) before packing up and heading out at 4:00 to commute back home 60-75 minutes to make it to the ballfields so I can grab the kids by 5:30 and coach at 6:00.
Wow, RTO is brilliant. Efficiency all around.
