Monday is going to be a hoot. After being glue to this site over the weekend I am a bit nervous about coming in. Is anyone else nervous?Opened my eyes to a lot and pulled back the curtain on the type of people I thought were my colleagues.

How much work do think was actually done across all sites? It must have been the lowest productivity day in Intel history
@uag+1tRmnnc0 ... so what do you really think?
Locked, loaded and ready to roll. Bring it on, weasels.
People saying 85% means a good chance you won't get laid off, but 85% chance is the same odds as a slot machine. Think of the last time you played the slot machines in Vegas.
Reminds me of when they announced Fab20 was closing. At the Tuesday B-M meeting, the Factory Manager stood on stage and basically lied to us, indicating that although a fab had to close, it was going to be the MA fab and we'd be safe. My wife calls and wakes me up the next morning asking about F20 closing. I told her, "No, it's the MA fab. The Factory Manager told us last night we'd not be closing." She insisted, so I got dressed and drove in to work. Yeah. You can trust management, alright...
All I can say is: BWAHAHAHAHAHA. Intel had this coming for DECADES. Time for some of the fat cat "middle management" to feel what it's like to be an underling. LOL.
People the begin sentences with “So” will be the first to be let go as they are annoying as F.
Are you going to cry on zoom? Calm down.
@bxp - I would not assume anything specific. Groups, rather than individuals, will likely be blocked from VSP, but I would bet that ISP could still affect a broad set of individuals that were prevented from VSP. For example, G12/G13 cannot do VSP but could be ISP’d
People who won’t get the email for voluntarily CPM, are they safe or sure to get involuntary CPM ? In am in TD MIE Analytics
Just remember 15-20% cut means 80-85% won’t be. Odds are in your favor. That’s not to say working there with 15,000 less people will be fun. They are not culling poor performers and the staff left will have to do 100% of the work.
Been through a few of these & it is stressful, hopefully you won’t get cut but if you do there is life beyond Intel. Take this situation and how you feel right now as a trigger/forcing function to create a second income stream. Side hustle whatever you want to call it, that way when this situation comes up again and it will you will be so well prepared it won’t really bother you as much.
I wouldn’t judge people based on this site. There’s a lot of people here just anonymously pushing other people’s buttons. Tomorrow is going to be different. Everyone will be stressed until all actions are completed. Just prepare yourself for the worst and hopefully it won’t happen. Keep a cool head and stay low. There will be a lot of different responses to what is happening.
Nice to meet you. After tomorrow I suggest everyone invest in a little mental health therapy. You will likely suffer PTSD from Intels toxic, narcissistic corporate culture. Believe me, all therapist near large sites and fabs are well versed in dealing with the mental health issues related to Intel
