Hi there, the company I worked for has been bought by Accenture. What can you tell me about Accenture? Is it a good place to work? Flexibility? Overtime? Career plan? Salary? Etc.

Hey, it is a really good place to work if your project is long term. If you have a nice friendly personality, you are hard working. Personally, I am very happy here although not part of management. You have normal working hours, not much overtime though. Being a huge company, of course people can notice layoffs or bad projects, but if taken into consideration they have 700 K employees..... All in all, all depends on you, if you are usually tend to be a bit more negative in terms of finding faults, rest assured you will. If you are a more balanced, or positive person, you will love it. Corporation is not for everyone, it has its unwritten laws that you must accept. But this is common denominator for all corporate world, not ACN as exception.

@bz ACN is a WONDERFUL place for Senior Managers, MDs & Leadership -- because they are paid for their presence, because they are all well organized and disciplined to work in the Microsoft tools like Outlook, Teams and some even know how to type in Microsfot Word and few of them are good in Powerpoint too. ACN is the Dead End and you have reached the ACN at the right wrong time. Update your resume and move on for a Bright Future
This is just my personal opinion based on my experience. I didn't enjoy working at Accenture. I found it to be a very demanding place with long hours and a lot of pressure. From what I've personally seen over the years, they seem to go through frequent layoffs, and I've watched them acquire companies only for many employees to leave or be let go afterward. That was my impression, and it's one of the reasons I wouldn't recommend working there.
That said, since your company was just acquired, the first year or two is often different. Many acquired companies continue operating with the same leadership, team, and culture during the transition, so your experience may be much better than mine. I'd keep an open mind and see how things evolve.
