Just look at our intranet during all the woke holidays and awareness months. And you you guys remember Charlie telling us we aren't allowed to question BLM because it's like not supporting br---t cancer awareness? And how it's our fault a black family felt like they had to introduce the local police to their children so they'd know they belonged in the area? Not sure what any of the had to do with running a financial company but I was elated when he got in trouble by his woke peers for saying he couldn't black talent.
Does BNY practice DEI ? That is a breaking news.

I felt BNY was slow to adapt to DEI but it’s still very much present everywhere you look. Go deeper and you’ll see they are just as left as everyone else - just not as in your faces as places like Citi or State Street. That being said, once DEI goes away I predict BNY will be one of the last to let go of it because they aren’t trend setters or leaders.

BNY IS a ‘woke’ institution. BNY uses quotas to hire and contributes to leftist PAC’s. Anytime you get motivational speakers here from the southern poverty law center or follow the mandate blindly on vaccinations, you are woke. And … Just take a look at the pictures on mysource or any of the corporate news and brochures. It’s always women, people of color and obvious ‘Liberace lite’ people. So please stop spouting nonsense.

Are you people oblivious to fact DEI has already been rolling back throughout the sector for over 2 years? Just because we have EBRGs doesn’t make BNY the ‘woke’ institution you think it does.
Just like ESG etc. every company is scared of offending Red state lawmakers by being to ‘vocal’ about DEI and this stuff.
So while you’re all whining like a bunch of losers on a podcast thinking you have some revolutionary, edgy ideas, this ship has already sailed and you’re late to the party lol
Are you kidding? They love DEI. It’s an excuse to hire the d-mbest and dullest. It also is an excuse to keep salaries low as many of these people are just savants who are incapable of performing at high levels. And that, means the company can then use cheap automatons offshore even more so while making the excuse they cannot find the commensurate skills here. Just a garbage bin deal.
When will MOST companies realiZe this?!?! DEI agenda is working so well in California right now ...
