Some participants are fluent in the FIS departmental acronyms, most may not be. It can make posts unintentionally difficult to follow. Including full department titles would be so helpful.

@cm yep, FIS is huge, not every employee will know about the scope of other departments and their projects. Everyone is trying to keep track of their own bit and the larger picture. Why assume that the question comes from outside?
@cm I am still with FIS and have asked for the same information. The company is compromised of many mergers and acquisitions. Add to that renaming of sectors. Take TSYS to TIS. So please don’t assume as you have done.
Because FIS is huge and each organization has their own set of acronyms. Plus, if you're newer and got let go you def don't know "everything about everything across FIS". That's why, it's not rocket surgery.
@OP Why are you trying to follow if you aren't FIS? While this is a public forum, most of these posts are employees just trying to figure out what is happening and what is next. Along with showing support for those affected. Except of course for the obvious trolls.
