We used to be open til 6 on Sundays but that's changed. Our store goes by whatever Macy's does in the same mall. If they decide they want to open or close later, Belk will do the same. Belk would open 24 hours if Macys decided they want to do that.

I don’t think they want to know !! The crazy thing is that we have to cut hours every week but yet now we open 1 hours extra on a Sunday. Is a sh-t show.

Judging by their decisions so far, I don' t think they are capable of investing in people. It just keeps getting worse and worse. They just don't see it and they never will.

Decisions made by the corporate executives are tone deaf. Customers want a shopping experience and associates on the floor to help them. Instead management decides that staying open until 7 on a Sunday is the answer. If they actually invested in people, they may see a change in behaviors of customers and profits. The constant ask to the customers to open credit is a turn off. Do something that makes people enjoy their time in the store, instead of dreading the long line to check out ang getting accosted to open a credit card.
