Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

What is market based strategy and how will it support hiring in non-hubs?

I am interested in ATS only in this strategy. How is market based going to work? Are they going to hire more people in non-hubs? How does it affect current virtuals?

Market based means a return to virtual or 3 days

T has been market based for YEARS. In my 25 years, this has never ever been a “family” or loyalty driven company, ever.

Stank made up a fantasy is his head and tried to gaslight us all as if this is some brand new thing. It’s not.

@cq you must be not ATS. Because I was told Arlington Heights is closed. Are people still there?

“AT&T will be closing the non hubs soon enough.”

Still here in Arlington Heights after the big ominous warning two years ago. Freaks and geeks never follow through on anything. I’m as safe as a hardened walnut trying to be cracked open by our leaders, armed with only a package of Nathan hot dogs. Excuse me now while I flush. It has been 27 minutes of free pay courtesy of the Stink.

Market based mean the overall technology market. Not market as in each market within the US. Derp!

Ask your leaders in ATS. Where is that “ask your manager” guy?

Market based strategy is less about location and more about a flea market mentality.
Dumping employees like fleas, on a whim, without regard for who they are, what they’ve done, what they’re working on, or what expertise they have. Ya see, with a flea market mentality, they can operate without guilt, scruples, dignity or loyalty. Employee has cancer? Dump em. Fill the shoes with offshore. Employee did a fantastic job saving the project and the VP’s a$$? Dump em because they finished up. More professionally stated, with a market based strategy, every employee is like a temporary consultant. When the job wraps up, there is no bench here waiting for the next assignment, just the exit door.
