Thread regarding Nike Inc. layoffs

Vultures are circling, but I'm not dead yet!

Can we have some compassion and empathy? It's been a hellish day and the last thing we need in our life right now is for a team member to "check in because they saw my name on the list and let me know that everything happens for a reason. And oh btw, their spouse is a realtor and can help get my house market ready"

@cqx+1r7JYTOI See a previous post called "The TellTale". I have posted the link. It will give you context for what 17801 list means.

I hope you responded with how you actually felt.
I admit I looked at the 17801 list as I lost my boss today, but it felt like vultures

Do not panic and sell your house! I made this mistake when I was laid off a few years ago. I regret that decision. Not being religious but someone of a greater power has created you and he is in charge to help you. There will be something better and brighter in the pipeline for you. Hang in there.

Until it happens to them, there's zero shame. If you find yourself released, you are guaranteed to find out who your true work friends are/were. Be kind to yourself and those around you, grace and humility are virtuous.
