Thread regarding Verizon Wireless layoffs

Up2speed live Twitter comments

Today was the first time people got the balls to negatively comment about retail stores open. A few were the typical a– kissers who think they have a future in retail. Verizon is putting employees at risk. Now that most of the country wants limited retail open. Yes I know Verizon is essential. Yet the people coming in are not.

So Hans and Irish guy here is what you need to do. Close most stores. Leave open centrally located stores with a staff of 2. Doors locked and only critical customers are let in, first responder, medical workers, etc. Not people who can log into Facebook. In most areas you closed malls locations. Close more now.

The states care that the network is working and that is essential.. not people doing upgrades etc.

Been on conference calls . in NYM.. During question time. I've heard about front line employees having Corvid 19
Questions from the store mgr to DM on what to do?Answer"we will talk off line" With all this going I hope the corporate elite will show empathy! And when we get back to normal I hope the front line will realize that a majority of there day is comprised of people that really dont have to go to that location.

I've read that this virus is so virulent that the increase of cases is in the higher population density areas like NY and Nj.Ive seen reports that this virus is k–ling younger people too so there goes the myth about older people. So with that said. What type of individuals are coming to the stores during this pandemic? Yes the people that dont think they've got it or going too get it!

@ikt+14459kO5 following recommendations of local and federal government midst global pandemic has nothing to do with work ethic.
I guess having no concern for health of your peers and customers is part of your work ethic? There are NO sanitizing wipes or gloves in stores! How's that for work ethic? Thanks for proving the point.

@csp+14459kO5 get your head out of your a–. Or maybe it's up in Verizon's a–? People like you - narrow-minded, first to speak but last to think, self righteous corporate yes-men, who fail to see facts and get brainwashed easily - you are what's wrong with this society.

You know what to shut you guys up, Verizon outta shut the doors down and NOT pay you. After all you guys are all worried about the virus so you’ll be able to sit at home and NOT get paid like most Americans who are out of work and relying on unemployment. But at least you will be out of harms way!!!!
