I miss those days.

@cx No. That chapter is well and truly closed and history. The world and the firm caught up with each other...
@df Consultants ruin everything. And I never thought T Rowe would be the kind of company to get into offshoring. Today, I had a less than impressive dealing with the Help Desk. My co-worker had a similar fail with the Service Desk. It is disheartening - they take great local workers who actually gave a d**n about their jobs and this company and replaced them all - through no fault of their own - with basically disinterested people in a foreign country who can only follow a script. And this will likely keep happening again in IT, Accounting, and anywhere work that can be sent to a foreign sweat shop. I always thought this company was better than that, partially because they seemed to strive for excellence, and partially because they had a sense of ethics. Whenever I see the logos on TV at the stadiums, I think how this is no longer a great Baltimore company. I can guess what Mr. Price would have thought about this.
@cx I remember when TRP wasn’t the big bad constant reorg layoff company it is now. Once the consultants started to come in, the place changed.
@a1 This is not the same company I came to work for. There is no going back to that.
And it really saddens me that we're never getting them back.
