2025 PDP Plan - Survival of the Fitest

OUr 2025 professional development career advancement appears to be closely aligned with Darwin's Origin of the Species Theories

"Survival of the fittest" is a phrase that originated from Darwinian evolutionary theory as a way of describing the mechanism of natural selection. The biological concept of fitness is defined as reproductive success. *In Darwinian terms, the phrase is best understood as "survival of the form that in successive generations will leave most copies of itself. *

It is more like the survival of the biggest a ss kisser, boot li---r, or back stabber. The finest of these forementioned types of employees. Exxon likes kool aid drinkers and good little followers that do not question orders. No individual thinking only the collective thoughts of the company. Praise be the company. May huge profits come and continued cost cutting continue.

The necessity of SLS positions depends on their effectiveness in adding value to the organization. Before the introduction of PMTE and SLS, operations might have been more efficient due to fewer bureaucratic layers and more streamlined processes. Ideally, SLS roles should focus on leadership, empowering teams, and removing obstacles, but if they are perceived as redundant or overly administrative, it indicates a misalignment.

To address this, the organization could evaluate whether SLS positions genuinely enhance productivity and establish a feedback loop to refine their roles. The goal should be to ensure that any leadership structure contributes meaningfully to operational efficiency, organizational goals and bringing value!

Being considered a “loser” at Exxon can feel like the only way forward for some of us to truly succeed. For many, the only escape from this environment is to step away—to leave what feels like a version of the “Squid Game” or “Hunger Games.” When you’ve had enough, you’ll leave too. If you stay, it’s often because you’re among the “favorites” or labeled as “high potential.”

Those who claim to love Exxon often seem blind to the reality—they’re the handpicked few set up to succeed at any cost. But for the majority, the system is unforgiving. Personally, I’m seen as a “loser” because I refused to play the game of currying favor with bosses. I focused on doing excellent, innovative work, which sadly went unrecognized and unrewarded.

My success will come when I leave, and use my skills where they’re truly valued. I’ll market myself to the highest bidder because I know what I bring to the table. So yes, I’m a proud “loser” at Exxon, but that’s not a failure—it’s the outcome of a predetermined system where your career level and maximum potential are decided behind closed doors.

Managers hold the keys to your path, including the maximum career level you can reach, but they’ll never tell you. Why? Because revealing it would strip away motivation. It’s all scripted—a role either favorable or unfavorable for you.

Hey Germany practiced extreme Darwinism and eugenics. They ki-led off the weak and inferior ones right. They either shot them in mass or gassed them. Actually they ki-led off those who did not agree with the NA-I ideology as well.

Loser at exxon winning at another company or in retirement. It is the only way for some of us proles to succeed. To escape this he-l. To leave the squid game/hunger game. When you have had enough you will leave too. If you stay it is because you are one of the favs or projected. People that say they love excon are sick and delusional. They are the hand picked ones to succeed at any cost. For the majority we are doomed. So I am a loser at exxon because I did not play their kiss a ss game to the bosses. I did excellent innovative work which was not recognized or rewarded. I will win when I retire and leave. My skills are needed elsewhere. I can sell them and market myself to the highest bider. So yes I am a proud loser at exxon. There was no other path for me as it was predestined. My CL and everyone else's is predetermined. Your manager has your plan and you maximum CL you can attain. This is true but they won't tell you your max potential because it would demotivate you. It is like a movie script either good or bad for you.

Exxon is a mediocrity not a meritocracy. It is survival of the d-mbest and person who can kiss up to the bosses. If you want to survive wash the bosses car or clean their houses. Laugh at their jokes and agree with the stupid ideas. Shout death to eastasia and become a party member. Attend the rallies and salute the dictators. Be a good little NA-I and you will rise through the ranks. Send employees to the pip chambers and gas them. Just follow orders with impunity. The meek shall inherit the remnants of exxon. Those who can do and those who can't manage or lead at exxon. There are too many problems like favorites and nepotism that won't allow survival of the fittest. This only allows the dysfunction to continue. Exxon is good at talking the talk but not walking the walk. All talk with no action that is exxon in a nutshell. The game is not fair and has never been.
