How many were let go in Chandler?

Some of these positive comments feel like the PR team for wells.
"a group of personal bankers" were they Small Business ones? They had a strategy shift from many in several large locations to back to the bank branches I believe.
I love Chandler and my job, it is the place to be for me!
I know of one of the upper mgrs in tec (network svc) was displaced the last round on 4/23. So, Chandler is not a total “safe” site
Not without losing anonymity, but it's happened. Building upgrades, especially something like a solar project, are a good selling point for a building WF is moving out of. It's not something company specific that is a total loss. This company routinely buys high and sells low when it comes to real estate. Look at some of the larger office buildings we've sold in the last 5 years. Losing only a couple million would be an upgrade from the avg WF building sale.
You can certainly tell who is miserable and who isn't in Chandler. 😂
@fdd+1sj1qrvo, I agree. Especially if most of your colleagues are located in India, probably you will be gone soon.
@dml+1sj1qrvo, actually you got a very good point. Some people in Chandler were let go because their LOB had to downsize. Those people had no physical team in Chandler, but most of their team members were located in other regions. I saw some folks just sitting by themselves, working quietly every week and not talking to anyone in the office. Those people were obviously not collocated with their team members and they were always in danger of getting laid off.
Oh no... How many days do we have left west of Texas??
No locations West of Texas are long term. NC is the safest bet until Charlie is gone.
I'm in Chandler, a couple months back, management invited a group of personal bankers into a conference room and let them all go - rumor was 20-or-so people.
The vibe in Chandler is no better than anywhere else.
Minimal eye contact, most people are not happy, depressing, toxic and sad vibe. Signs posted every week about forming a union.
Can you please share the "many" locations WF implemented projects (preferably costing millions of dollars) right before they closed the site? I'm genuinely interested??
It's true, I'm in Chandler and all the doom and gloom that is expressed on this site does not feel that way here for some reason... IMHO, it feels like this is one of the few places to be at the moment if you don't want a package.
We all know Chandler runs this company with greatest concentration of talent and skill
Yeah, the company would never waste money on buildings due to ever-changing plans. 😐
You must not have been here long, I've seen many projects implemented right before sites close. They do it all the time. Chandler will probably be the last WF building in AZ, but that's little comfort when the axe finally drops. I&P hubs and NYC are all they care about. Everything else is a temporary means to an end.
Chandler continues to make building improvements, recently sinking millions into a solar project. It's not going anywhere for a long time and layoffs seem to be few and far between at that location.
A temporary one at best. I&P is the future.

Fake reporters trying to get info.
Why do so many numnuts think in terms of locations vs business units?
None, Chandler is the future.
