Your entry is complete fabrication. There are NEVER updates given, ever! You find out you have a contract when the deal has been finalized. Been that way forever.

The union is doing the negotiating. Let them do that. I’m sure the union knows we want pay raises, better health benefits and so on. If they start telling union members what is happening, union members will start saying “i want this, I want that”. That undermines the unions ability to negotiate. We want people at the table that the company believes is empowered to make the deal. That’s how the negotiations work. Relax, we don’t have to ratify a bad deal and the union knows this.

Top secret negotiations are a need to know basis , and you don’t need to know . If anything prepare for a tiny raise and medical to go up .
