Thread regarding Ford layoffs

Don't wait to be laid off

Job openings plummeted by more than 1 million from July to August, the Bureau of Labor Statistics reported Tuesday.

I retired last spring. I did not sit around and wait for a package. The job market was good then. it is starting to slow down just a bit. So now is the time to go.

This is what I've been telling the survivors for weeks. Ford ain't done. And when they layoff another round the job market is going to be in the toilet. Get out and get a new job while you can.
