Does anyone know what is going on in EMDC or EMPC side? With so few project beyond Gate 2!and 3, EMDC is technically dead.

@1nrn+17m1aIPx Yes. EM Petroleum and Chemical as a legal entity. However that is not the business unit being referenced in the post you are trying to correct. EMPC was the shorthand used for Exxonmobil Production Company until the last upstream reorg beginning of 2019. That “EMPC” ran most of global crude production.
It is another great feature of the company that we use so many senseless acronyms the two individuals cannot have a conversation without confusing each other and getting mixed messages.
Thanks for your reply but EMPC still exists: ExxonMobil Petroleum & Chemical BV - see link below

Exploration is the most likely to go.
@1azi+17m1aIPx
lol
Not sure about the world poverty but a significant symbolic root cause of ExxonMobil poverty. I belong to RTD and feel that we are the worst among worst. If there was no COVID-19, we "so called researchers" would all be al busy ki55ing our management or affiliate business unit a5ses and planning for worthless business trips to Europe and Australia for our next "so called" kick-off or JIP meetings to collect more frequent flyer miles on business class trips.
I can't say much about Corporate Strategic Research as I don't know that org, but if CSR in NJ is as bad as I hear then it is close to but still not clearly beating RTD for being the worst organization.
@qcq+17m1aIPx the return of the csr/urc crusader. Welcome back, I missed your posts on how they are responsible for world poverty
Get rid of RTD (formerly known as the Upstream Research Company) and lay-off all employees who started there and moved onto other parts of the corporations in the past 15 years.
Worthless people, worthless organizations. Worst collections of PhDs. EM needs to let go entire organizations and any employees that originated from them. CSR, EMRE all should be put on the copping block. The only problem is that none ion these employees are hirable elsewhere.
EMDC. ExxonMobil Development Company
EMPC. ExxonMobil Production Company
Yep, no longer exist. ReOrg in Jan 2019

Sorry, I am one of the “old timers”. We still live and believe in those names.
They went away last year but are still part of Upstream renamed.
I think you mean global projects. Yes they will need less people due to less activity
That is the problem with these acronyms, they do not mean the same everywhere. EMPC exists as a legal entity, an EM company, in Belgium. Never heard of EMDC though.
Where have you been? EMDC and EMPC went away a long time ago in one of the reorgs.
