Blame Game

It’s comical to me how millennials get blamed for the direction of the company and constantly get called entitled. Just because your kid is entitled because you raised them that way, doesn’t mean we all are.

Actually millennials were born between 1981-1996. That means the oldest millennial is 44 while the youngest are 28. Most of them are in their 30s, Sherlock.

We don't need $1mm dollar homes, most of us don't live in rural Pennsylvania. Even to buy a tiny home in a high crime neighborhood in my city it's $700k

The fact that u need a 1 M home is the point.

Sorry champ, no amount of Starbucks is going to enable me to buy a $1mm home with 6% interest rates. The housing issue isn't caused by spending issues.

Millennials aren't the first generation that "knew it all" in their late teens. Everyone does that. They ARE the first generation that never stopped "knowing it all". From food, to fitness, to tech to absolutely everything. They just know it all. Of course there are exceptions, maybe 15%, but the know it all attitude, the entitlement, the thinking everything should come easy, ugh. I can't afford a house boo boo but I can spend $30 A day on Starbucks and takeout. Of course when they get in a bind tho they run to the Xers, Boomers and Silent G in their lives.

What you've just said is one of the most insanely id--tic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this thread is now d-mber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

Everyone who works here owns a portion of this mess. Your age, experience, or made up generational cohort is irrelevant.

Oh, don’t come for GenX…that’s dangerous and this is sounding very Ageist.

Why are you all looking for someone to blame here? It’s ridiculous and divisive.

It is just GenXers deflecting any and all of their blame and shame onto the millenials......as they've always done for years. They simply can't accept that they've cauised all the problems for everybody else.

I don't think many people realize that many millennials are in their 40's at this point.
