any of you brown nosers on here saying that this layoff email we got today was "expected" and a normal amount of cuts given integration, how many low level workers will fall on the kn--e so that Walt can continue to make 24 million a year????? yet he can't even give raises to match inflation. this company is an embarassment

They lecture us about modeling what a leader looks like to our direct-reports. People Leaders should all follow the instructions and copy the leadership of Walt these past 4 weeks:
- Lack of Transparency and Lies
- Disconnect from Reality
- Prioritizing Profits over Client Experience
- Confusing, Conflicting, and Un-coordinated Communications
The goal is clearly to scare off as many employees as possible before December to reduce severance packages. Fine, we can do that but this chaos method comes at the expense of the mental health of those low-performers that can't find anything better at Fidelity or Chase and decide to stick it out.
Anything the CEO Walt says or the other Managing Directors say/write are now considered lies in my book. They snaked me.
What did George Bush say "Fool me once, can't fool me again"
Your focus should be on yourself and your family...because that is where Walt's focus is. He is leading by example and we should follow suit.
Think like a CEO and jump ship the moment you get a better offer at Fidelity/Chase/MS/Robinhood/etc
If you didn't expect layoffs, maybe take your head out of the sand. Just because we expected it doesn't mean we want it. The only difference between us and you is that we maintain common sense. No one is celebrating layoffs, everyone hates them and thinks all the decisions made recently are horrible.
Keep your eyes on the prize, people. The Important thing is that Walt retains his scheduling flexibility.
It's truly remarkable how many people will go out of the way to simp for someone who views them as an ant, who would not even bat an eye if we all keeled over and died right this second. Listening to some sociopath blather on about company morals then follow up by downsizing thousands of positions instead of his own compensation is truly remarkable. I wish these snakes would just be honest. I can respect a snake, it is dangerous. I can't respect a snake wearing makeup, it is goofy and pathetic.
