2 years since the last review anyone actually got the raise that Jenny Ragged-one sent the email saying its getting paid this month?
Or was the email more fake news?

The only rises given were those mandated by government changes to minimum wage. But even then they still had to review it and spin it like some big important process.
@1gr lol look at this guy with no side hustle.
So just been informed that some of the targeted pay-rises folk in the uk are not getting payrises, so yet again 6 years on…. I really don’t know why I still work for DXC!!!
Joke of a company sure Rahul needs a payriase!
Doing nothing until a ticket comes in isn't a strike, that's what everyone in a reactive role does. You aren't special.
@18g the imaginary network strike. Absolute rubbish.
We in Networks are so happy the support for our strike has grown massively. Thank you all for listening and acting upon the strike. This companies Executives are the worst of examples you will find, inflation their salaries every year and then sending out emails stating there is no money.
The company is playing a smart game. It's given me so little work to do recently that I really don't feel justified in asking for a pay rise. They will no doubt find a load of work that did actually need doing and is now late, just as soon as all the pay decisions have been made for another 18 months! However on the basis nobody can be bothered to communicate what's going on. I'm just going to carry on taking the money. I have my own stuff to be getting on with and can use the free time to generate the pay rise I should have had all along. DXC gets the attention it pays for - which isn't much these day!
@184 All comms in this company seem to have stopped. You can probably assume if you hear nothing it's the usual 0%. They are not going to tell you it's nothing - they've already basically told everyone except a few exceptions that it's nothing.
When the f is she going to announce the pay increase.
The email said 16-27March was the review period. Ffs get on with stop lying and making up false emails.
@cj well said. I'm definitely in that boat. 😑
We are virtually in April, how long can Ra gone keep lying. This is becoming a joke leave everything to the last minute but you want the company to grow.
You ask people to complete Ethics courses when you dont know what that means and the leaders dont practice any ethics.
Will we be April the 1st fools
As in the name ”Don’teXpectCompensation”.
@j7 You are free to believe whatever you want. Nobody's gonna convince you.
@hp because it's laughable that you think anyone believes you do nothing but sit and do your work like a good little doggy and then come here and moan.
@gk "Complete and utter rubbish. Grow up"
We're fine, thank you. If anyone has to grow up, it is the management and people responsible for allocatic resources to the employees. "Thaat's myyy maniii no giving it to the employeeeees I don't want toooooo doo ittt, it is my billions of dollaaars" crying histerically
@he why would we tell you? IT was very welcoming and look where it got us. We have to gatekeep much more, so no one in their right mind would tell you what exactly they are doing anymore.
@he A few ideas if you're looking to build something on the side — some quicker wins than others:
Freelance website builds – still plenty of demand for simple, no-nonsense sites for small businesses that just want to be found online.
Niche platform/service – connecting buyers and sellers in a specific industry where the current options are clunky or overpriced.
Community IT support – helping people who won’t/can’t deal with tech (setups, fixes, advice). Boring but consistently in demand.
Build an app and monetise it – ideally something small and focused that solves one problem well, not “the next big thing”.
Property flip or rental – higher barrier to entry, but viable if you’ve got capital and patience. Can be managed alongside a day job if your project managing.
Creative route – making, fixing, or building things to sell. Works best if you already enjoy it rather than forcing it.
Not all of these are quick money — but a couple done consistently can turn into something decent over time. My own has been 10 years - I was in the right place at the time time, it's still many hours a week, but as there are many hours waiting for things around here both jobs can be progressed comfortably. 2 jobs makes more together than the "just leave and get a higher paid job" pushed by others on here. The diversity of income add additional resilience. Either could come to and end, but I've still got the other.
@hb what are these side hustles that people are doing? So far half of the employees here seem to have one but nobody can be specific, or at least give a hint as to what they are doing.
Selling on Vinted/eBay isn't a side hustle.
@gk Some people are genuinely run off their feet. Whether that’s because they’re actually effective and everyone relies on them, or they’re just busy without delivering much, is another question.
Then you’ve got the ones who say they’re run off their feet — because that’s what sounds right — but it’s more talk than reality.
And let’s be honest, there’s also a fair number doing very little. Side hustles are definitely a thing — everything from proper passive income down to someone shifting a few bits on eBay to fill time.
As for “switch on and go out” — I’m not convinced. I can think of days where I could’ve done exactly that and no one would’ve noticed. And in reality, no one does notice the odd hour here or there anyway.
Whichever camp you're in - you probably believe everyone else is in the same one. I can assure you people are operating at polar ends of the spectrum across this organisation.
@gf it is true only Ireland in scope in UKI.
@gk new side hustle.

@gg Getting the money in March is what they said in November, what they said in March was it will be April but only for junior roles.
There's been no official news about specific countries but lets face it no one who has been with DXC more than 2 years can be surprised at no reward
"Mentally checked out"
"Side hustle"
"Clock in and leave the house for 8 hours"
Complete and utter rubbish. Grow up.
@e6 I have "got that through my thick head" hence why I'm asking about side hustles. If you're that aggressive to simple questions then it's no wonder you haven't been given a pay rise.
@fj “If you don’t like it, leave” — yeah, you’ve said that about 1000 times already pal.
Truth is, I mentally checked out around summer 2024. Funny thing is, the company still pays me. Apparently I’m needed, although it’s hard to see for what given how little I’ve actually been doing since.
I stopped chasing every billable hour just to prove I “deserve” a pay rise — especially when there clearly aren’t any on offer. And no, I’m not rushing to leave this cushy number either.
I’m not refusing work, I just don’t buy into the performative “we’re all flat out, let’s squeeze it into lunch” culture anymore. If others want to create that noise, crack on.
If the goal is to push people like me out, then fine — introduce meaningful pay rises again and you’ll see what happens. Either underperformers step up, or they fall behind. That’s fair.
Right now, though, the tone from the top is obvious: everyone for themselves. So people respond accordingly — take what you can, give as little as you need to. And it turns out - that's very little indeed.
I should point out I am not trying to protect my personal brand for a future career in corporate IT. When we're done I don't need a reference from DXC. This has been coming a long time, so I've been saving away, so with or without a pay off I'm already sorted thank you.
They said it would be on March’s pay bearing in mind we work a month in arrears that means you if you receive one will receive it in Aprils pay packet
@g9 that’s not true - they are but they are focusing on the Analysts and Snr Analyst roles
If you are in the UKI region. The UK is not in scope for the salary review, only Ireland.
@c6 What a baby , grow ups and leave if your not happy !
got WFR in UK. Don't miss anything. Every day was always a sh*t experience
@d9 DXC NEVER EVER gave out merit annual pay increases and the sooner you get that though your thick head the better. You want a raise , go up some stairs as DXC will never give you more money!
I retired from IT after more than 40 years. My last stop was DXC Technology Americas, which I left a little over 1,150 days ago—and yes, I still have a problem with how that place was run.
The issue was simple: leadership and the board didn’t believe in paying people for performance.
You could meet every goal, exceed expectations, carry the load—and still see little to nothing in return. Meanwhile, executives had no trouble taking care of themselves.
From everything I’ve seen and read since, not much has changed.
That said, the value I got didn’t come from the company—it came from the people. I worked with some very talented engineers and architects at DXC, especially on Keith B.’s team.
But the strongest talent I encountered in my career actually came from IPG—a company I worked for before DXC. That contrast says a lot.
I wasn’t the easiest person to work with—I don’t sugarcoat things. But I knew my job, owned my work end-to-end, and didn’t hide behind “not my responsibility.”
That’s what delivers results—not corporate process.
Do I miss parts of it? Sure—the collaboration, some of the weekly calls, and working with sharp people. What I don’t miss is the bureaucracy, the noise, and the disconnect between leadership and reality.
I had some excellent project managers and supervisors along the way—and a few that had no business being in those roles.
Here’s the part that still stands out: every other company I worked for—including IPG—managed to conduct annual reviews and provide raises.
Somehow, DXC couldn’t—or wouldn’t.
Bottom line: you make the role what you want it to be. I stayed over 13 years with only two pay increases, largely because I worked remote and respected many of the people I worked with. But let’s be clear—that wasn’t because the company got it right.
Ah That famous old Pink Floyd album cover 🐖 🪰
What side hustles do you guys do? I am sick of not being considered for a pay rise despite doing everything I am asked and at one point more (until I realised there is no reward).
I have no idea where to begin.
I worked for DXC for over six years and received just one pay rise of 1% during that time. I left four months ago for a much better salary, and I’ve been told that pay rises are due in June.
It was a difficult decision. I genuinely loved my job and the amazing people I worked with at DXC. I didn’t want to leave.
Many of us go through but rarely admit out loud:
Loyalty to a company and the people.
Feeling undervalued financially.
Fear of starting over.
Doubting your own worth.
Worrying about age, fitting in, being “good enough.”
For me me fear would creep in at times with thoughts like:
Who would hire me?
What if I don't fit in?
What if I’m not good enough?
Am I too old?
What if I don’t like the people — or they don’t like me?
What if I don’t like the job or the environment?
My family comes first and whatever move I make they are impacted. I would never know what the grass is like on the other side if I had stayed.
As the saying goes, no risk, no reward and looking back now I’m glad I made the decision to leave. If you’re thinking about making a move but fear is holding you back, trust me — once you take that step, you will look back and realise it was the best decision you could have made.
No risk, no reward.
Good Luck
Nope and I don't really care anymore. I found a side hustle, at job I am doing barest of bare minimum, just like them. I found inner peace by doing that, not waiting for the overlord to give me scrumbles. As long as no one bothers me that is fine.
@bh Saying “if you don’t like it, leave” is like telling someone who points out a dangerous pothole in the road to just drive a different way. Sure, they can avoid it—but that doesn’t mean the pothole isn’t a problem that should be fixed. Ignoring it doesn’t make it right, it just leaves the hazard there for everyone else.
DXC's pay policy is wrong. It's damaging for this organisation. And it's resulted in a lot of good people just taking their foot off the gas to compensate. Not everyone has ambitions to switch job every year. But that doesn't mean we don't know our stuff. If colleagues who do the same job got the same pay and we're all in the same boat together I could be more forgiving. DXC pay is not fair and balanced resulting in a lot of ill feeling towards newer colleagues who earn more but know less.
Even if they happen you won't hear about them till April there is all the review and over ruling of manager's proposal by the blanket HR policy to get through first
@bh what part of "the job market is terrible" do people like you not understand?
I'd love to be shown where all these open spots are that we can just walk into. Feel free to share.
