As a remote employee, I’m expecting to be cut. I’m mentally prepared for it at this point, and preparing my plan. Honestly, just holding on for now due to upcoming bonus dates.

@dp remotes work harder and are more competent however because remote they will be less likely to drink the dell kool-aid because of their higher self-esteem.
@a9 The remotes I work with are 10x’s more talented than the office lifers who move at a snails pace. Just saying.
Sorry to hear that. I don’t know what to make of the way Dell is going about these cuts. It’s more upsetting and distracting than just giving teams an early and honest heads up.
At a former large tech company, leadership would advise entire teams they are at risk due to corporate priority changes. The same leadership would take time to secure employment at other companies - with recommendations.
