Myself, along with hundreds of my peers, discarded like trash this year. For me, countless sacrifices over a decade with BNY, weekends, holidays, time with family. With the promise that all our contributions to the organization’s success would be rewarded with a career. With personal and professional growth. After all, we have a people pillar right?
Everyone out there that participated in this house cleaning and training of replacement India staff should be ashamed. Every manager, director, MD, and up that terminated good people because you were told to by your boss, know that you’re weak, pathetic leaders that let someone pull your strings without standing up for your people. Several senior members fought back in the end of 2023. You know what it got them besides 1st in the unemployment line? RESPECT. To some people that courage still means something.
These execs and wealthy shareholders are making SO much money right now while an old coworker has to sell the home he raised his children in.

@eaz+1vdW8pft That’s why they added mental health benefits. They know what they are doing. They just play it off as if they care.
