Was told told that we are losing our claims cage. Our GM told us that everyone is losing them cause they are an eye sore. We keep ours pretty clean, it is small, but where else are we supposed to hold our items to be secure like laptops and electronics … ever since the change to have receiving and claims become one, claims has been getting the short end of the stick .

We haven’t had a claims in years. We keep the lock up return items in a locked cabinet in the receiving office. We were also told that they may get rid of the receiving office also so who knows what other changes they’re making… I’m so drained
We haven’t had a claims cage in years!
We lost our claims cage earlier this year. They never gave me a secure back up for anything so now it all just stays in lock up up front until I ship it out. Not convenient for anyone.
Claims cage has been gone for nearly 9 years. Soon enough there will be no claims what so ever so don't even stress about it.

We haven’t had one for about 8 years. We have a small safe for jewelry items. Nothing is secure. Returns are going to eventually be processed by the refund desk anyway, so this is the final push before they change claims/receiving/ backroom again.
This isn't really a new thing. They got rid of our claims cage a couple years ago at my previous club, and the one I transfered to doesn't have one either.
What about those of us with tobacco?? Did home office think of where we are supposed to secure our returns ? When I asked , I was told they will think of something ! Yeah right ! This company is a joke
Heard the same thing . Just another pencil pusher from home office that has nothing better to do than make bad decisions about things they know nothing about . Same as usual anymore with this company . Maybe they actually worked in the areas they sc--w with they would have a better view of the actual jobs they are making worse
