Just heard the news…confirmed white, over 45. Anyone notice no Indians are being laid off of our American created/ HQ’d company? T isn’t even a wireless provider in India…what a joke.
Also heard that the survey was split into 2 categories - over/under 45. Allegedly, over 45 was negative, under, positive.

I’m not racist and talking FACTS, but it is a known fact that coming soon all the Indians that are married and have changed last names in the USA and working in the same Organization plus relatives, daughters and sons are on a list. Because code of conduct outlines immediate firing , loss of pension, and the family domino effect of firing that is outlined and in a list forth coming once the last leg of legal completes which is known especially In New Jersey and will continue. So beware all involved basically signed off and once the final
Legality is covered you will be fired and walked out or lose your visa unfortunately.
Look at it this way, family cannot have family working for a relative in the stack of management. Changing your name/ last name for example married in India but in the USA different last name well prime example! How are y’all getting away with it and married in India but but not married in the USA and have children spilt with whose last name and yet you are working for your uncle who is from India. It’s so known if you start peeling back the onion.
@md this is eye opening. Explains everything I suspected about the Indians who work here
My director said were safe.
“ What about when your ancestors came to America…probably took jobs from Natives.”
Poppyc0ck! This was a land of uncivilized savages until the White man came, and established his innate, rightful dominion. Furthermore, the White man has contributed more to mankind than all the other races combined (as guaranteed fact).
It’s funny because 80% of Press/Morgan org are of Indian origin so this is a small cut if older white people are being cut.
Since when 45 is an old age? That is prime employment age. many of orgs under Press are redundant. You can do with half of his org, offshore or onshore.
@f2 no one at AT&T can get a job at these companies. No.one.
T is not a technology company.
@en 50 year old Black woman. Happened to me. Last day was Monday… I have a PMP and a Masters degree. 27 years with company
@ed other countries have good STEM schools, too.
@at true
@OP what about when all the white people went to other countries? What about when your ancestors came to America…probably took jobs from Natives.
last time i checked this is God's country and eveyrbody is welcomed.
There’s clearly some exceptional tech talent contributing to this board—many of you seem to be world-class. Top tech companies like OpenAI, Tesla, Google, Amazon, and Microsoft are constantly hiring, and the compensation can be significantly higher........sometimes even reaching into the millions, if reports are accurate. If you're that skilled, why not aim for those roles? You might even find yourself replacing some of the international hires.
44 white woman here. I was given my notice. I love everyone. why did this happen to me?
You white old, Indian better. Good english.
“But it was pretty big and resulted in everyone on my team being at the minimum of the payband.”
Their salaries are below the prevailing market wage for a US worker. Also explain the purpose of offshoring? We have the best technical STEM schools in the world right here is in the US, one of the best in the country is in Atlanta, yet they offshore, move tech jobs to other markets, why is that? Atlanta is the largest tech hub on the east coast, tons of Silicon Valley companies and startups moved offices to Atlanta. I think it’s because it’s more expensive period. Cheaper to offshore and inshore, it’s a numbers game and a cost reduction. That’s the reason. I wouldn’t recommend anyone go into CS these days due to the over saturation and AI component phasing those jobs out and a race to the bottom. I tell people to get engineering degrees or get a trade. Most trade jobs pay more than office work and have a great deal of upside.
Some white men do harbor hate towards brown Americans, Latinos, blacks in Minnesota and DC a lot of other Amercian cities, and now Indians. It's time to move past this, racist white men; we are all Americans. We the people!
@b9 To be frank, Indian Americans do exist. And I’m not even Indian, I just know they deliver and outperform that’s why they are there.
It's honestly kind of funny watching some of these so-called professionals meltdown after getting laid off. You had a cushy job, decent pay, and all the perks ..... but somewhere along the line, you stopped being useful. That’s the brutal truth. Companies don’t keep people around for nostalgia or good vibes. If you’re not bringing value, you’re out. Simple.
Instead of crying on social media about how unfair it all is, maybe focus on learning something new. Improve your skills. Stay relevant. The job market isn’t some emotional support system — it rewards people who adapt and actually get stuff done.
And please, spare me the tired “cheap labor from India” narrative. It’s lazy and outdated. If you think companies hire Indian engineers just because they’re cheap, go look at the H-1B salary data .... it’s public. These folks aren’t getting peanuts. They’re getting paid well because they know what they’re doing and they work hard. That’s it.
Corporations don’t “love” Indians. They love people who can deliver. If that’s not you anymore, don’t blame someone else for doing the job better.
Why should AMERICAN Telephone & Telegraph show any locality to the Americans? What a concept!
Weird, since most people over 45 in my group didn't respond to survey.
If you are white and over 45, you don't do much work. Indian work harder.
Aside from your racism rants, any relevant info about this?
That is the plan. Everyone will eyes can see it.
Posted this many times. Anyone eligible for the rule of 75 or IF hired prior to 2009. You ARE the Target. I gave them the 5 and 1 this year. That’s a wave and then the bird. Bye Brett and Rene won’t miss those worthless job threatening clowns. Good luck to the Legacy people who are still there. They can’t run a business but saving money by reducing the rule of 75 workforce is their end game. Saving hundreds of millions of future payouts.
We need numbers who is gone from where?
