Nice guy but poor strategic moves. Thank god it’s being cleaned up and Miss. AI gets her golden parachute before she could blow this place up any further

@ew A plan means nothing without execution. Case in point: someone asked him at his last town hall if Jana influenced his management plans, and he flatly denied it — though looking back, he seemed to already have the Truist offer in hand at that town hall. P.S. Miss his PR team’s humor on this site though.
He seemed like he broadly had the right plan. He was probably pushed out because of Jana Partners - his new role at Truist doesn't start until September 1. Jana may not be on onboard with his plans.
@d5 imo. Nice is not we need right now. We need a little tough leadership to cleanup the mess. Nice people get taken advantage of. That’s what happened to ML. Takis needs to show if he has what it takes.
You really think Takis is any better? He is 💯 AI and not as nice as Lyons
@bd Neither is Takis but he sure is familiar with people and operations within. Let’s just hope he knows what he’s doing. Employees need a little reprieve from the constant restructuring.
@OP He was inexperienced for a big job like Fiserv.
I really wanted him to be successful but he went all-in for the AI princess. Then on, all decision we’re made in bot mode.
