Wfh employees being targeted

Bny tries to hide what they are doing but they are targeting wfh employees. Out of many being let go, its the wfh employees being axed mainly on those teams. There needs to be lawsuits because management put them in this position closing their locations and now are holding it against them .

This is true, even though we we're told we weren't going to be asked to come in office. I was asked to relocate or prior to 9/2 or a severance package will be discussed.

where is this information from? KOP PA office was sold, putting most employees as BAH. I'm not aware of anything stating that protects your severance so long as you are meets expectations. There was another post where a former KOP BAH employee was told their job is now at any of 3 distant locations.

Some senior leaders like JB just changed her WFH status in the directory to a tiny PWM office 3 hours from her home. Right, we believe she actually commutes there to work.

@f2 IN my situation they didn't give me a severance. Just used Partial Met Expectation as an excuse to fire me.

US employees need to read the updated Bny Separation plan. Seems bleak for current BAH and serverance. There are scenarios where people were hired as BAH years prior to covid and RTO and will get caught up in this BS. Company doesn't care about it's employees.

We have been told today for the Enterprise Onboarding Platform, that based at home employees to be reduced by 50% by end of 2025. Also we should have a minimum of 8 staff reporting to a manager.

But if you working from home due to your office being closed eg oriskany , they can lay you off but would have to give full severance.

WFH has been a planned target for a while. I also see recent job postings on the BNY site (less than a week old) now specifically say hybrid 4 days in office rather than just hybrid

If this is a surprise to you, you have not been paying attention.

Everyone knows this and BNY made it clear awhile ago that you weren't going to be kept around if you are BAH. That should have lit a fire under anyone BAH to get a new job ASAP. The job market su-ks right now - you need a lot of time to find a new gig.

I got out a few months ago for another remote job, and it's so much better than BNY. If you are BAH and not one of the higher ups that will be spared, the time to find a new job was yesterday.

just like they can fire you at will they can change your working arrangement at will as well.
