Speaking of Coffee Machines....

At our old office somebody put up a sign in the breakroom area that said, "Please do not ur----e in the coffee machine". It was in English and in Spanish.

No idea if somebody was actually doing that, but it's kinda weird that somebody felt the need to put that sign up in the first place.

Non-existent conversations since I have no colleagues or clients within 500 miles and given then number of maskless anti-vax disease vectors roaming around out there, I will be staying as far away as possible from the other people at the radomly-assigned work site. Head down, work, get the he-l out at 5.

Former PwC person here. I was at the PwC office maybe once a month. And even that wasn’t necessary. It’s a consulting firm. They’re out at their clients 90% of the time and wherever else they feel like being the other 10%

The leader of our area said we needed to go back into the office because there's something special about talking with co workers near the coffee machine. I was like great, I am going to being doing a 3.5hr RT to the office to chit chat at the coffee machine.

Can you guys believe how backwards McDonald’s is? They make employees come in every single day, no hybrid model!!!!

Ugh they travel like 90% of the time..

They're a consulting firm. Their staff is mostly remote (out at client sites). They are not a bank. They don't need to interface with the general public. Talk about apples and oranges. Ge-z.
