The reality is, Ford has the best executive leadership role in the mobility business right now. Citing bought and paid for media outlets to support incorrect opinions does not give credibility.
Leadership capability and credentials have never been better in Ford's history. Bill Ford himself has stated as such.

I am thinking the thinking is eliminate the competition or impact the aito industry that it would be difficult for another company to start up and sell there.
Government Regulations and bans help make large companies that become monopoly like or straight up monopolies.
We were probably hoping to be one of the few automakers to have EVs, even though we lose money on every one. Yep, it doesn't make sense.

maybe it's because they already cancelled the Fiesta? if ICE is allowed, the other companies building Fiesta sized cars are gonna vacuum up a lot of those Fiesta customers.
Unless... the UK Government has made a deal. Hard to tell what goes on that never makes it into the papers.
