So all that disagree with you you actually wanted to work for these fools that are gone or going? There are therapy services available at no cost if the answer is yes.

I saw the title, the Crown has been restored.

My first thought was did they repaint corporate HQ red and yellow as the correct spelling is CLOWN CASTLE. Ronald Mcdonald obviously has been running this farce! The worst thing that ever happened was the CLOWN ruining the fiber companies!

Decades in telecom, I have seen many things and the way the CLOWN ran their fiber business would make Bernie Ebbers proud!

@fp+1jqxr1kvv Spot on!! There’s a district manager that came with the Sunesys acquisition, who should be running the West. Instead a certain VP got the position with lies and BS. I’m sure that decision has been regretted after all those lawsuits.

"Real work". That means tower only. F scn and f fiber. That's all I've heard since I started almost 10 years ago. Y'all got what you wanted, now what? You think the extravagant retreats and daily trips to the bars, and lunches out and cake parties are coming back? Can't see it happening. Eventually their gonna clear out all the extravagant salaries as well. You got what you wanted, see how that works out.

What the HLL is going on w all the corney rah rah BS going on here the past 3 days? Is it HR or is it all the nepo mgrs called out for being so negative in previous posts? Either way its corney as sht. And a pretty obvious attempt at manipulation. Sad. Very very sad.

Don’t care who caused it just care who’s fixing it and this week has been a great week of attempts to fix things which we needed.

Just to be clear, it was Lightower that ki-led the culture and profits, not fiber in general. We had bought several other fiber companies (Next G, Sunesys, FiberNet) before them and absolutely nothing changed. It wasn’t until Jay and the EMT allowed the clowns from Lightower to run the show.

It’s not just Crown. PE has taken mediocre game players and put them into a Survivor game with real entrepreneurial talent and water down the soup. Put a big restrictive covenant on it and ki-led the will to perform and take big risks. Telecom in all its glory has morphed into…something else.

I hope my psycho bosses get the memo and stops managing every aspect of what we do in an effort to save themselves by looking like they are “in the know.” I have so many tire tracks on my purple polos from being thrown under buses that you would think it was a fashion choice.

Legacy tower leaders ruined the company?. Maybe you're thinking of people that have worked here a long time and have become managers. There is a long list of leaders that who helped build an amazing company and culture. They believed in sharing profits fairly, strong fundamentals, and knowing people and their work. I pray DS starts to call some of those people and can get the company focused on the principles that built this place. I do agree there have been positive moves recently, let's keep going.

The legacy crown people tanked fiber. They didn't want to learn it, they didn't want to support it and all they did was bash it. Sure they smiled and played nice for the emt but day to day shared services bashed it. The fat cats that worked there 10/15 years and just wanted everything to stay the same. Crown will never grow as long as those people and their minions are still around.

Crown Castle will never be a great place to work again. If I squint my eyes I could see a scenario where it becomes an okay place to work in the future, but it will never be like it was before those terrible fiber acquisitions.
