any way leadership wakes up and sees the mistake making him VP? He’s in over his head. Anyone who sits in mtg with him knows what I’m talking about. Hes Clueless about the work. Manages with a big intimidation stick. Moral down the toilet. Directors managers and ICs are leaving across the region. Its a joke. How do CL and KR not see it?

Crown has a great record of putting less than qualified people in leadership roles. Look at the RE specialist that became a DM overnight and then thought they could run construction with a Real Estate background...that failed.

OP is not too far off from the truth. JP is in over his head. He tries to cover his lack of knowledge and poor leadership skills with intimidation and an obsession for meaningless reports and irrelevant data. Yet to talk to one person in that region who has any respect for him. Only a matter of time before he flames out.
I was wondering when the posts that aired all of south Florida’s dirty laundry would be removed. It took like 4 days. LOL

I mostly agree with everything you've outlined and unfortunately won't refute the few things I disagree with as it would hurt my anonymity here.
I do want to point out that CR was the director and left for his current role nearly a year before JP came to Crown. JP was his backfill, he didn't get the job over him.
I think JV is a much larger issue for culture than JP ever was. Not to mention the obvious kickbacks from BT.

I worked under him when he was in Florida and he was really nice, friendly, and approachable. I wonder what changed.

If your region actually delivered results, maybe you wouldn’t be writing on this site? It seems you’re used to spending time pushing out revenue vs just getting it done. Sorry you’re experiencing Accountability for the first time.
Doubtful, I'm not even a part of KR's org. Just talk to a lot of people who talk to a lot of people.

Didn't one of his directors have to "retire" to avoid investigations into "ethical concerns"? Looking at the KPIs for Central maybe they want him to chase people off. Doesn't seem like a strong group, outside of maybe Chicago.
