Outsourcing means no severance? Sorry they did the facility managers like that!

Yea, look what they did to the Facility Managers … “outsourced” so they don’t qualify for severance

Hey there, you should really consider reading the severance policy before you remove all doubt that you are truly clueless. If you think these BL ( business lines) aren’t wording the reduction in workforce such a way that they don’t have to pay severance you are d-mber than a box of rocks

This smells fake as Severance is a Policy and paid unless you are blatantly terminated for cause.

Middle management of TOS needs a massive RIF. Most members are employees who failed up. Official meeting attendees who add nothing to any conversation. TOS needs 4 levels from lowest programmer to CIO. Maybe 3 levels. The failed TOS middle management only muddy direction and objectives.

Excuse my ignorance, but would you be so kind as to spell out the RMC and CRO acronyms?

My guess is CRO means chief revenue officer, but I'm unclear on RMC. Thank you.

I was hearing rumors about a big RIF in October. Guess things are starting early. Ugh. Well, back to looking for my red stapler.

RMC leadership was asked yesterday (by the CRO) to explore reducing headcount by 25% and what that would mean for existing responsibilities. One in four people in RMC will be gone, some with no severance.

Not OP but I have heard the same thing. Next week expect a lot of news throughout the company with a focus on TOS and middle management

This was already hinted by top leadership about September - no one need to give hard details

I concur with the b.s. on vagueness statements. In the current environment it's not helpful to post stuff like that.

This is an anonymous forum and some people like to stir things up for the sake of stirring things up.

There are no months without re-orgs and RIFs at this company.

It's the anxiety that's getting to me. The job market is trash right now. On the hand, if I am being laid off, I want to just get it over with. On another hand, I would hate to deal with the job market right now.

My advice: Update your resume, activate your network, learn new skills, start those side hustles, and build your emergency fund.

I have heard the same. It's 100% legitimate. Significant reduction of workforce.
