The funny thing about younger people is they know less so they are easier to replace with AI. And there will be no one to mentor them. Kiss a career goodbye.

It's just some weird little power fantasy from one of the perpetually aggrieved trolls on here. There are no leaked internal documents showing that.

Can anyone provide legitimate information regarding this type of class action lawsuit? I would join immediately.

Kind of ironic to see young people celebrating old workers getting laid off. If AI can replace old workers, it can replace young workers.

It's actually age discrimination against younger people, which they downsize for no other reason than as legal defense when firing some olds.

What if your over 50, on a team of 10 people, all getting laid off, and everyone else is 45 and under? I don't know how that would qualify as age discrimination or being singled out?

More than half of wells fargo is over 40. They will keep getting rid of us for the next 20 years, until AI takes over the bank with no need for employees. 🤦‍♀️

I didn't relish the idea of looking for a new job during the holidays and burning through my severance and savings. Been there, done that, got the t-shirt.

It just so happens the boomer are the fattest ones at the bank. They gotta trim the fat to make room for us younger kiddos to have a chance. Sorry, but the bank is top heavy, you have got to go

Im a boomer and I have been targeted for termination so they dont have to report laying off someone in their 60s and pay severance. Where is that lawsuit?

Wells Fargo diversity trainer caught in profane tirade at McDonald’s. This happened in Ypsilanti. She’d just attended a conference in Detroit.

Why would you accept relocation offer? If you have declined the relocation, then you would have been displaced with severance.

I'm over 50 and was offered and accepted relocation. At this point I would have welcomed displacement with severence! Skrew this place. the 1980s called and they want their antiquated "must have butts in seats in the office"-mindset!

News flash, we all had pristine reviews before the new system. Unfortunately, that was also the reason of the downfall of the old system.

What "internal documents" have been leaked that show what you're alleging?

OP is really giving away the game here with the "pristine reviews" bit too. Classic Narcissistic Personality Disorder to brag at every opportunity and to insist the you MUST be the victim of some conspiracy if your ego is bruised in the slightest.

You do know that the only people that get rich in a class action suit are the lawyers, right? The victims only get pennies on the dollar.

Boomers are people born between 1946 & 1964. Most people at Wells that people call old are born between 1965-1980. That for the record is Generation X, not a Boomer, thank you.

The fact of the matter is Wf is broken, especially in WF technology. Look at the peer banks - ALL OF THEM at least 5yrs or more ahead of Wells Fargo. Corrupt leaders wasting millions of dollars with zero f given. Horrible decisioning. Look at how disgusting the cloud roll out was/has been/continues to be. Stupid as F people running things that are not in sync with the speed of tech change and wasting millions. Little sc-mbag MParks in database and PedoBrady of cto are to blame. One out the door the other on last leg. Crumble and burn all

@a2+1jtba3p1k, Performance review used to be a tool to help employees' career growth. These days, performance review is nothing but a tool to get rid of unwanted employees, and they are all rigged to help managers' political agenda.

For some reason, a large majority of Sr. executives are over 50, but the age discrimination doesn't seem to apply to them at all.

Pristine performance reviews- several over 50 received IM performance reviews for the first time in their career. I would love to see the performance distribution based on age for 2024.
