Farley can put on his racing jacket, sit in Hackett’s little red wagon and Bill can have a couple of FCGs pull him off the stage. So done with this clown

Prior to Hi---r hi------g the sw-----a for his Na-i party, it was an ancient good luck symbol. The Rouge plant was built between 1917 and 1928, well before Hi---r hijacked the symbol, so there is NOTHING to that.

I put this on another post but guessing it is probably better served here:

Ok anyone else getting Vietnam flashback to the Jac Nasser days. He too was looking to change the company from a car company to a consumer products company focusing on subscription services. Sound familiar? He too went on a giant cost cutting binge including the creation and spinoff of visteon. Once again anyone else getting Ford Blue vibes. Finally his cost cutting caught up with him with the firestone fiasco. This too is sounding very similar to this new battery announcement of using cheaper materials. But instead of flipping cars I am guessing we are upgrading to fire. I am starting to guess Ford is doomed to repeat history.

Let’s not Forget that Henry Ford and Adolf Hi---r were business associates. Still remember when some of the structural metal work in some of the Rouge facilities had swastikas cast into them.

Henry Ford had great business acumen, but he drove Edsel to an early grave.

@OP. I don't have a particular problem with Farley. For me, he is just another clueless pompous S-B that escalated the ranks leaving a trail of lies and hatred.

My problem is with the Ford family in general, especially Bill Ford. They ARE the actual owners of the company, not the public shareholders. The Ford family are the only ones that can promote and dismiss CEOs, set the culture of the company and do the right thing with the ranks. With great power comes great responsibility, and also the blame for all the cr@p that has been going on at FMC.

It would be great that someone from the Ford family could have the business acumen of the founder. However, that doesn't seem to be the case. Therefore, the Ford family should stay AWAY from the day to day decisions of the company, should NOT mix their personal political views with the company's, should NOT use the company resources as their private piggy bank, and over all that, should NOT be appointed to any position in the company.

FoMoCo has been struggling for many years now. Politics and the American mindset helped the company sales, but we are facing a very distinct demographics, in very different circumstances. I feel the company is slipping, maybe with no recovery. We'll end like Chrysler: selling our best vehicles under the ownership of an European company.

We were better off with Hackett... I liked his potato chip bag analogies.
